Summary of Position

We are currently seeking a motivated and professional team player for a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) position in our Orthodontic clinic.

The ideal candidate has a strong clinical background. Leadership ability is a must. We seek an individual with excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a busy but enjoyable patient-centered practice. The right candidate should be able to build relationships with patients and work well with others.

This position requires excellent communication, strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities vary but may include the following:

Taking picture records

Taking pan and ceph radiographs

Taking digital scans

Bonding aligner attachments

Bonding and removing appliances

Wire and bracket changes

Providing patient education and instructions

Requirements

Member of the ODHQ

Must be an RDH licensed in Quebec

Fluent in French and English

Skilled in all facets of dental hygiene and dental treatments

Able to work independently and as a cooperative team member

Commitment to promoting disease prevention and patient education

Handle patients with professionalism and sensitivity

Education/Experience:

Orthodontic experience is highly valued but not necessary
